most precious resource water.
The idea for Healthy Water International was conceived
in September 1992 on a hot, dusty afternoon in Phoenix, Arizona,
where Australian businessman Doug Campbell was attending a
conference. What began as a simple request to hotel staff
for a glass of pure, unsalted water ended in a trip across
town to a factory which manufactured water filtration products.
While enjoying countless glasses of refreshing filtered water,
Doug was befriended by the factory's owner. This man's extensive
knowledge of the health benefits of water purification so
inspired Doug, he returned to Sydney with a new dream. He
wanted Australians to begin enjoying water the way it was
meant to be safe, pure, healthy and chemical free!
Less than a year later, on 1st March 1993,
"Healthy Water International " opened for business. Initially, the majority
of customers were large corporations like Telstra, CBA and RTA,
wanting to provide their employees with clean, filtered water. Over
the years that followed, word of mouth resulted in more and more
households and offices choosing Healthy Water International Filtration Systems
for their own homes.
Today, Healthy Water International customers number
in their thousands and can be found in cities, suburbs and
small country towns across Australia.
