Healthy Water International can assist you with a wide-range
of US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) compliance testing
guidelines for the commercial and industrial applications below.
Our water testing services will also determine and recommend customised
filter system apparatus which will rectify any specific problem
areas and ensure legal integrity should any such circumstances prevail.
The testing also meets Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (amended
2001).
Our 11 years of experience in water filtration
system design and water analysis procedures provides you peace of
mind in knowing the system we design and recommend will address
your individual water quality needs.
We offer a range of Water Testing
services for:
- Domestic (City) - Drinking Water -
Reference Australian Drinking Water Guidelines
- Domestic (Country) - Drinking Water
- Reference Australian Drinking Water Guidelines
- Domestic (Country) - Crop Irrigation-
Speciality crops water testing
- Domestic (Country) - Bore water - For
corrosive & organic pollutants
- Commercial - Food Equipment - For corrosion
prevention
- Commercial - Drinking Water - Reference
Australian Drinking Water Guidelines
- Commercial - Boiler Feed Water - for
corrosion prevention & conditioning of effluent
- Cooling Towers - Microbiological, organics
& legionella
- Building Storage Tanks - Microbiological
& organic
- Hospital Steriliser Units - for control
of colloidal state & organic materials.
Following Healthy Water's USEPA compliant
water quality analysis a filter system is designed to control corrosiveness,
heavy metals and inorganic. For example: (Hospital endoscopy steriliser
units and disinfectors steam boilers and heat exchanger plates,)
Our systems are also used to control scaling and corrosion of surface
metals for food preparation equipment in hotels, restaurants.

Building Cooling towers & Boiler feed waters
and effluent - important water quality parameters
1.
Ammonia and silver metals are toxic pollutants and are tested
in boiler feedwater and industrial wastewater or effluents.
2.
Evidence of mid range levels or chlorine in cooling towers and industrial
equipment is preferred for proper sanitation and odours.
3.
Copper levels are increased to hinder growth of plankton and
ever present algae
4.
Mid range levels of hydrazine are most important as it has bactericidal
control properties and will scavenge oxygen to control bacterial
growth
5.
Higher range levels of Molybdenum is used as a corrosion
inhibitor in cooling towers while phosphate can enter water streams
due to boiler blow downs and is added to reduce scaling.
6.
Silica on the other hand is a major source of scaling and will
require significant reduced levels if present
A scheduled control analysis to cover high and
low range levels of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) algae, chlorine,
fluoride, toxic copper oxide and lead and other selected toxic contaminants
tests are available.

Food Service Equipment - You need HW300 Triplex
Corrosive Protection
As a business owner who is about to or has purchased
a Combi steamer oven, kettle or any boiler based food service preparation
equipment, we understand your objectives are:
Consistent taste performance
Minimal maintenance
Extended service life
The two main enemies of achieving these objectives
are corrosiveness and white lime scaling on the kitchen food service
equipment elements, steam jets and stainless steel surface metals.
They will cause high maintenance costs.
What regular problems will occur over time
without water filtration?
In our experience the following problems will
occur, if you do not have appropriate water filtration system in
place:
Fan blade rust & cracking;
Cassette rusting;
Rust spots in oven chamber;
Higher electricity use;
Jets & solenoids;
Inefficient heating from elements;
Blocked / restricted jets & pipes
Contaminants in water that will cause corrosive
and white scale problems, which rapidly rusts out machinery and
food services equipment include:
High levels of rust & grit;
Free chlorine, chlorides;
Salinity (sodium) dissolved salts;
Total dissolved solids (TDS);
Calcium, magnesium compounds
Preventative measure that should be introduced:
Install & Healthy Water Triplex Filter
Unit to significantly reduce corrosive deterioration of your food
service components.
Ensure the filter cartridges are changed regularly, as a
guide each 2-4,000 litres depending upon incoming water condition.
Place all wash down hoses after filter unit to avoid cross
contamination.
Regularly wash down equipment with filtered water after use.
ΓΌ Leave doors slightly ajar or lids open to prevent excess water
puddling, allow 1-2 hours internal drying time.
Use the Healthy Water testing
diagnostic facilities before you install the machinery,
we can provide a scientific report that will advise whether a filter
unit is required.
